Peter and Mary Morgan of Beverley Guest House recognise their social responsibility to manage the environmental impact of their activities, products and services.
In order to promote good environmental and social awareness we will endeavour to:
1. Comply with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
2. Analyse our consumption of resources, thereby reducing pollution and waste.
3. Monitor and evaluate the outputs of emissions to the atmosphere and wastes to disposal facilities.
4. Assist customers to use products and services in an environmentally sensitive way.
5. Liase with other local accommodation providers.
6. Ensure that suppliers understand our environmental policy, and encourage them in developing responsible behaviour with regard to the environment in adopting sustainable business practices.
7. Assess risks associated with this policy, and minimise them.
8. keep up to date with developments within the G.T.B.S. and Considerate Hoteliers, regarding sustainability.

How you can help
Please be a responsible visitor – seven things that you can do to help save the planet.
Conserve Energy – switch off lights and T.V when you leave the room.
Give the car a rest – leave the car behind, we are only a short walk from the centre of town. Try it for a day.
Shop Local – try our farmers market, and local products and arts and crafts fairs.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – try and cut down on carrier bags and use our recycle bins in the rooms.
Be Water Wise – please think about our towel policy, and try to prevent running the water when not in direct use.
Respect Nature – help us to look after the landscape and wildlife by not littering, guarding against fire, and using footpaths and cycleways responsibly.
Support Green Tourism Businesses – there are hundreds of businesses trying to reduce their environmental impact.
